The Book

Hope Dies Last: Lessons In Love is the true story of my pursuit of love. They are stories collected from some of my most powerful blog posts, and organised into a narrative that will remind you of the best (and worst) parts of dating. There are stories of first dates and all the potential they hold in their fists ; stories of the way a broken heart looks like on the inside. There are stories of losing hope and trying to find it again. Come find it with me.

From the back cover:
Hope Dies Last is the true story of twenty-something Eleni Zoe’s pursuit of love, a boy who will sit still with her for a while and the perfect mantra. As a self-confessed perpetual singleton, she shares her tragicomic stories as if she’s whispering her heart out to you over a girly dinner. From first kisses and what sex is really like to bruised egos and broken hearts, Eleni asks the questions we each have on our quest for love. The difference is, she’s also got some answers.

“The total package is something wonderful that you’ll get completely lost in.You’ll learn from her experiences. You’ll nod (and perhaps sip an adult beverage) along with her stories. It is all too rare that you find someone who can be completely brave and honest in telling stories about themselves. And when they’re also a remarkable writer? Well that’s magic.” Peter DeWolf | peterdewolf.com
“I’ve been a reader of her blog for a long time and I’m constantly amazed at her brilliant writing. Also, the way she captures the mind of a single girl in this book is amazing. I read it so fast the first time because I couldn’t get enough. And I read it again tonight. Definite read for every single girl and guy out there. It’s the perfect length and delicious to read!” B. “Eleni Zoe is a fantastic writer. Her words echo in my own heart, and I suspect the hearts of women everywhere. This book is an account of her quest to find love, but that isn’t entirely accurate. This book is EVERY woman’s quest to find love. I read it cover to cover without stopping, and when I turned the last page I was still wishing for more.” A. Thompson | Reader
“I loved this book. I sat down with it expecting to read a few chapters & finished the entire thing. Eleni’s stories were inspiring, thoughtful and incredibly well written. The reason I’m giving it 5 stars? Because it’s the kind of book that every hopeful, single (and not!) 20-something girl needs to read. I still can’t believe how unbelievably well written it was. Go read. Now. “ Melissa | Reader

“You know those books you read on your way to work or at your favorite coffee place and wish you had your yellow highlighter with you? That’s the kind of book this is. I highlighted, underlined and re-read parts over and over again. [Eleni] writes about stuff we’ve all gone through in a way that will make you feel that she put into words something that you’ve been feeling but never been able to express with such clarity. It’s a book you will quote to your friends over dinner. Pin | Reader

I’m totally ordering the book.
But. Before I do.
Let’s be honest. I want mine signed. Cutely. So how do I make this happen? Do I have to pay $100 extra for this special treatment?
DISCUSS.
It’s a LOGISTICS NIGHTMARE.
But if you really, really, really want it signed, you buy it from Amazon, get it, send it to me in Greece, I sign it then send it back to you. It should only take about 3 billion months. :)
P.S I’m thinking of doing a giveaway with a signed copy in a few weeks. Are you a lucky person? You could wait for that. :)
