…as a passenger in a car, will flinch obviously but with no malicious intent, when the driver gets too close to parked cars.
…will not take a car to begin with and then accuse, “Are you sure you haven’t had too much to drink?” when sober-ish friends offer to take me all the way home.
…will pout and when asked if something is the matter will say, “Nothing.”
…constantly forgets to follow through with promises.
…hates small talk to such an extent that I would rather sit in silence.
…writes the same ‘WHEN WILL I MEET SOMEONE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD?’ emails for three years in a row. (I’m surprised I still have friends.)
…may correct your grammar while you are still in the middle of your sentence.
…will say ‘Yes’ when I mean ‘No’. And say ‘No when I mean ‘Ask me one more time.’
…can never decide what I want to eat. But I will probably veto most of your proposals.
…will take the other side of the argument you are trying to make JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT.
What kind of annoying person are you?

I’m with you on taking the other side of the argument and the inability to make a decision about what I want to eat.
yep, i’m always the person who can’t decide what to eat and then shoots all the ideas down when i ask for help. and i’m an awful backseat driver. sometimes i have to close my eyes when the driver is slowing down and there’s a car in front.
Wait, I don’t remember writing this post. Yet I can see myself in almost every one of those things (well, except the email thing, I’ve got my great husband but even before that I never really bothered others with it).
Many of the above! Specifically the flinching and the arguing for the hell of it.
I am horrible about making little decisions, like “where should we meet?” or “what do you want to do today?” because, in all honesty, I usually don’t care–my goal in meeting up with someone is to spend time with them, not to go anywhere specific.
But, to make it more annoying, while I may not know where I *do* want to go, I definitely know where I *don’t*… so much shooting down of suggestions could occur.
PS – there’s an award waiting for you on my blog! Go get it! :)
(reposting, i think)
“hates small talk to such an extent that I would rather sit in silence. ”
thanks for always making me feel like less of a freak …like for not wanting to talk just for the sake of talking .
… who invites friends over all the time and after they’ve arrived goes to bed in two hours…
but they still seem to love me!
I do the same thing with food. Deciding on a restaurant for dinner is such a pain sometimes!
I’m a car flincher and a restaurant veto-er as well. Ha! Other than that, I’m close to perfect.
I’m stubborn and expect, whatever guy it is I’m currently interested in, to know exactly what I’m thinking at all times. :-) I tend to have a lot of disappointment.
I am the annoying person who finishes people sentences if they just can’t spit it out… I even annoy myself with this :-)
Have you ever considered (or done) online dating? You can easily meet many guys in a span of one week.
Dare I say I do a few of those too??
i am also the annoying person who writes in emails to her friends, WHEN AM I GOING TO FIND HIM ALREADY?
they think it’s endearing (or at least that’s what i tell myself) ;)
I am definitely with you on number one. In fact, I flinch at most any small sound. And I’m the annoying worrier. I borrow worry. I’ll worry for you, about you, and with you.
well so I’m with you on almost everythin… maybe not food cause I always know what I want to eat :P but sill can veto everythin :p
