If writing to me is like my heart–I need it to be alive–then listening to music is similar to the air that I breathe to actually stay alive.

I’ve been listening to the same music for far too long and I need something new now that the cold is beginning to settle here in Athens.

I teared during Senator McCain’s concession speech.

I sobbed through President-Elect Obama’s victory speech.

And as I watched the sun rise in Greece I remembered Kennedy’s “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech.

My hair stood on end and I thought, 

 ” Just for today I am also an American.”

“Its really hot today-so when I get home I’ll start working on th-oh look its former landlord’s son with his girlfriend. That’s so sweet that they’re still datin-oh my look at her ass–thats unfortunate. She’s put on so much weight! Ha! Its because she’s part of a couple. Hang on hangonhangon.

SHE’S got a boyfriend with that ass?

Hope!? That’s a really mean thing to think about someone. But come on, I’m thinner than her. Well, I’ve got an average body. There are tons of girls out there my size. Some with boyfriends and some without. Hmm. I guess size doesn’t matter then, does it? Maybe it really has to do with confidence. And being comfortable with who you are. Maybe thats what men li-hey I haven’t thought about what men like for quite a while. How long has it been? 2 maybe 3 month-I love walking down the street with the sun hit-I can’t believe I bought these shoes for 10 euros. That was such a good fin-sometimes I am so happy to be single.
