Bag. I love it so much it makes me want to be a better person.

Sunglasses. Six days old. I feel that I should be the paparazzi’s next shot in these.
Writing implements. Just in case. The highlighter serves absolutely no purpose except each time I see it I am reminded of the time I spent in England. And WHSmith in particular.
For lips. For every occasion. I only use the orange-y Korres one at the moment. It rocks.
Miscellaneous. Car keys. House keys. Shop keys. One of those keys was given to me by a customer that apparently unlocks the back gate to his pool. I am told that I can use it whenever I want. Still hasn’t happened. Bright yellow cylinder are throat lozenges that never leave my bag, hand cream and finally my paper bag–for all my panic attack needs. Also? A lone 2 euro coin that would have been rather helpful at Starbucks this morning had I known it was in there.
Moleskin & notebook. The place that a considerable number of my posts are born.
Today’s post began from this:
When I was a girl, my mother’s hand bag seemed to be the epitome of glamour. Even if there was always a used tissue and an odd mint floating around in them. It must have been that sexy smell of Chanel No5 that got me each and every time.
When I grow up, I would think, I will have a hand bag. And it will be good.
Has having a handbag made you the woman you thought it would?

First, I love your handbag.
Second, my mom wore Chanel No. 5 too and that smell always reminds me of her.
Third, I love that you carry notebooks in your bag … I do that too where I jot down random thoughts.
Fourth, I’m impressed you didn’t have your cell in there. Mine is a permanent attachment of my purse.
Fifth (why am I commenting in numbers?), I love every single one of my handbags, but I know that my love affair with them isn’t over yet. The need for a bigger closet reminds me of that.
firstly, i love your bag! b- i have a similar post saved in my drafts with the cotents of my old purse. probably needs to be updated.
having a handbag has been gooood for me!
I hadn’t thought about it but you’re totally right… my mum’s handbag was this thing to marvel when I was young. Not that it was particularly stylish but there was just so much to discover. I always enjoy my purse more before I clean it out – you never know what you’ll find.
Yours is the perfect handbag.
I’m not even close to the woman I thought I would be.
Ah, a girls’ handbag is an earthly equivalent to a black hole… It is always a mystery what is in there, even to its owner.
I have two that I deeply love – one is the one that fits everything – my books, my snacks, my keys, my dance class stuff. The other one used to belong to my gran, so it gets taken out only on very special occasions.
cause i dont have much time to answer your question, sorry im at work, i really need to know if all those things fit in your bag. really do they?
Oh I do remember my mothers handbag and to this day mine still doesn’t measure up!
Great bag! A nice handbag always makes me feel like a woman.
My mom’s handbag was like a treasure chest. Full of invaluable objects that would entertain me…gum, tissues, makeup…especially the lip gloss.
That is a gorgeous bag.
Mine has an ink stain at the bottom from an exploded pen, and is full of journal articles… so I guess the answer would be no!
yes i love digging into my mother’s handbag when I was a little kid. There’s so much I can find in there, that smell…that will always remind me of her.
Every girl need a fabulous handbag.
i got this handbag habit from my mum.
i used to watch her every now and then emptying her handbag on the kitchen’s table and sorting it all out.throwing out receipts, old clippings from magazines that she has seen the perfect next eyeshadow or the new Lancome juicy lip gloss – remember how crazy we were we those when they first got out a few years ago?- and then putting everything bag in neat order only for the mess to be created again in a few days.
i do this every two days.
oh the memories!!
oh and then i met Hope and she taught me the meaning of the really big ones, you know the ones you can fit everything in!and then i loved those….
by the way….COOL COOL COOL SUNGLASSES!!!
OH OH OH!!JUST READ THE POST AGAIN!
THE USED TISSUE…SO VERY MUM-ISH!!
ok i will stop commenting now!!!
that bag wants ME to be a better person. Where did you get it??
I’m still searching for the perfect handbag. I love yours.
Handbags and shoes baby, that’s what it’s all about.
My mum’s handbag always has mintie wrappers and bits of paper in it. Mine? Exactly the same.
No, having a handbag makes me want MORE handbags.
Yes!. I experimented with a men’s wallet and an itty bitty purse for a few years. Earlier this summer, I bought a purse I’d been stalking for months, and yes, it’s made me the woman I always wanted to be. I have an umbrella, my Chanel Allure, mints, my wallet, pens, a notebook, and some chapstick, moisturizer, hand sanitizer and travel size deodorant. So the purse has made me an organized, beautiful, good smellin’ woman. ;-)
