“My god, my twenty year reunion is next year.”
“You’ve been out of school for twenty years? WOW, you’re really old.”
“Yea…”
“Well, I’ve been out of school for ten years so I guess you’re not that old.”
“You’re half as old as me.”
“Well, technically my ten year reunion is in two years.”
“Sigh. I’m old.”
“Right, that gives me two years to get my life in order”
I stand up.
“What, you’re starting right now?”
“Nah, my leg’s just asleep.”
Stomp leg on ground.
Sit back down.

That’s funny. I kind of base things around my ten-year high school reunion too. But I still have 4 more years!
my ten-year is next year too! They just started a group on MySpace for it. I’m just so shocked, because I still feel 18, and like i still have a lot of stuff to accomplish…tomorrow.
My 10-year is in a few more years. But I don’t know if I want to go!
Funny. Haha. You reminded me of my ten year reunion next year. I have one year to get fit. Sigh.
I missed my 10-year reunion because I was in the army at the time :( and it’s still very early to be thinking about a 20-year reunion.
Haha! My ten year isn’t for two more years. And I think I may conveniently miss it.
Tiff: I also feel 18 on most days, except you know, when I go out past 12 on a week day. Then, I feel my age.
Lisa: That’s number one on my list. The way I see it is if I look good, people will see past the no brilliant career, no man, no successes bit. Sigh, indeed.
Hehe! This made me laugh!
I just had my 20 year HS reunion – scary…
Ha! Funny story.
My class was too slack to organize a ten year reunion.
Thankfully
lol! this made me laugh. i wonder if my class will even organize a 10 year reunion….
hilarious.
*stands up and claps*
I figured I should stop by and introduce myself, since we are, apparently, both dating Zach Braff.
:)
And my 15 year reunion was this year. Yikes.
A girl I know’s high school class is having a 5-year reunion. What the hell is that?
And my ten-year is also 2 years away, but it is sneaking ever closer.
Thankfully, I am still nine years away before I have to deal with any sort of reunion (unless whoever handles it deigns to schedule something before ten years). Even so, I don’t know if I would go. Although part of me is hoping that by then I’ll be just successful enough to rub it in all of their faces (I know, how humble of me), the thought of seeing the people in high school that pretty much made me miserable isn’t very pleasant.
I’m so glad I have 9 years before I have to worry about that.
